Hello, my fellow everyones! This week has been so crazy and so fast! I can’t wait to tell you all about it!! Before starting, I just want to say how fast this transfer has gone by. It’s been another six weeks that have literally just flown by. I can’t even comprehend how fast it’s going. Serious, Elder Cummings, Sister Peterson, we only have 18 weeks left. CRAZY! Sister Turner…you only have six weeks left. So time flies! Cherish all the memories and time you have left! 🙂 Elder Thao, in two days you’ll be sitting in your house not knowing what to do, so email me. 😛

Drumroll please…ELDER YANG AND I ARE STAYING IN EAU CLAIRE!!!! Woot! I’m so excited to work here in Eau Claire and party it up for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

From Elder Ellis (email dated 10/03/2016):

Hello everyone! It’s time for your weekly dose of Elder Ellis!

Best thing about this past week…hmm…I wonder. It was General Conference, of course! Man, oh man, it was so beautiful! Every session. It’s a missionary Christmas, super bowl, party, you name it! I just loved every moment. Elder Holland throwing down about home teaching, President Monson talking about the plan of salvation, President Uchtdorf teaching about the plan of salvation. Ah…So good. So bear with me, this is going to be a long email. I want to share with you my experiences I had during conference.

I Don’t Think I’m in the Sticks Anymore, Domo!

From Elder Ellis (email dated 9/26/2016):

Hopefully, you all got the Wizard of Oz reference there. Haha, because for real, I’m not in the sticks anymore. Oh, and Domo is my stuffed creature Bao made for me in La Crosse. I’ll attach a picture below, he’s so fluffy. I’m gonna die!!! Alright, movies quotes aside.

Domo says it will be fun!

This week has been crazy. Seven days ago, I received a call from President Forbes saying, “Pack your bags! You’re going to Frogtown to do Hmong work!” Next thing I know I’m biking in St. Paul and teaching people whom I can’t communicate super well with. It’s an adventure I tell ya. Well, let’s flashback to the beginning of next week and we’ll start there.

Frogs Have More Lives Than Cats, Because They Always Croak!

Featured Photo: Light touches everything!

From Elder Ellis (email dated 9/19/2016):

Hello everyone, man again I say, as I always do, I can’t believe it’s been another week! These weeks keep getting faster. So fun fact, in my zone, there is an Elder who goes home with me. It’s Elder Cummings! I love that kid. For those who don’t know or remember, we were companions in the MTC! He called me and told me that we have 24 weeks left on our missions. Yesterday was my 18-month mark. I have now hit my “Sister mission” mark. CRAZY! Time flies! So basically to make you even more trunky for me, I only have 24 P-days left. You’ll only receive approximately 24 more weekly emails from me. And I only have four big holidays left until I get home: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. Unless you count Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s day, but let’s be honest, who counts those as holidays? It’s really just Singles Awareness Day and green day. Anyway, point being, my time is short and I am nigh unto death. Crazy!

So death and things aside, let’s get talking about this week! What happened? Let’s find out!

From Elder Ellis (email dated 8/22/2016):

Hello everyone, I can’t believe it’s already been another week. Seriously, these weeks are going by so much faster than I expected. I also can’t seem to remember most events that happened earlier in the week. Multiple times I remember, thinking back, “Really? That happened this week?” It’s been great though.

From Elder Ellis (email dated 7/11/2016):

Hello everyone, it’s been another week. This past week has just flown by. It’s so crazy! I mean it was the Fourth of July, then suddenly it was Sunday again. So it’s been fast.

Today is the transfer calls. We got the email. Here’s the scoop! I have been called to be a zone leader in the Oakdale zone. I’ll be in Hudson. So that’s exciting. I’m so sad though, I love this area! It’s going to be a different experience. Ah I’m so scared! Zone leading, it’s not too bad right? We shall see. But challenge accepted!
