From Elder Ellis (sorry, a week behind):

Hello everyone! 🙂 I can’t believe it’s a new week already. So many great things to tell you, so let’s get things started!

First things first! I have been called to serve as a trainer! I get the opportunity to train a brand new missionary who gets off the plane in two days. I’m scared. Like. Deer in the headlights. Ah! Things are changing up too. Elder Lao is a zone leader! Yay! I’m excited for him! So news about fatherhood behind, now onto the week!

Look “GQ” she said….

This week has just been amazing! We were able to teach the K___’s and it was an amazing lesson. We taught about the 10 Commandments and helped them understand the importance of the Sabbath Day. It was super awesome. We also taught them about temples and eternal families. They had so many questions, it was awesome! We had to save all those questions for the next lesson we taught with me. We taught them on Saturday in a members home. We taught them about eternal families and the temple. They understood a lot of it and loved it so much. They are ready for baptism. They are so ready, they even planned out parts of their baptism! They want their kids to be involved too, it’s so sweet. I’m so happy for them! It’s exciting! We planned out things for their baptism. They came to church and are so ready. This family is every missionary’s dream, it’s amazing! 🙂

Greening up!

Well, the other great part of this week happened with our other investigator P___! We taught her on Tuesday and we taught her about the Plan of Salvation. It was great! We shared a lot about it and answered her questions about life after death. We also set a baptismal date for her on May 14, 2016. She said, “Now, I want to make someone clear, I want to be baptized no later than June 1st.“ We were floored. It was great! She also came to church yesterday and signed up for us on the dinner calendar. She came up to us and said, ”I’ve got a lot of studying to do if we’re planning on May 14th, so I signed up for some dinners so we can study more!” She’s awesome. I’m so excited for her too! She’s awesome. This new greenie is going to walk into an awesome area with 3 baptisms in the first transfer! Woot!

At Twins Game with the Forbes!
Zelda missionary power!

Man, the work here is going great! We also were able to go to the Twins game! Yeah! The Twins lost against the White Sox, but it was fun to see a lot of missionaries again! I got to see Elder Gwynn, Elder Dygert, Sister Peterson, Elder Yang, and a lot of Hmong missionaries too. It was a great experience. Christy brought us home from the game and we had a party. Hahaha, it was awesome.

Tri-Force in the Twin Cities!

Man, so a lot has happened this week, but next week I’ll have more to say. I’m glad to be serving a mission. It’s been a great experience. I’m so happy to be serving where I am. It’s such a blessing. I’m scared to train a new guy, but I’m excited too. We’ll see how it’s going to go down. Thank you for all your love and support! Love you all!
